Meet Dr. Sue Anne Meyer
After working as a registered nurse with the Indian Health Services in Alaska, Arizona, and South Dakota, Dr. Meyer
decided to pursue her medical degree at the University of Colorado in Denver, where she also completed her residency. She then completed a fellowship in palliative and hospice medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
As an internal medicine physician, often called an internist, Dr. Meyer specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases and conditions.
“I’ve always enjoyed helping someone reach his or her optimal health,” says Dr. Meyer. “I’m very proactive and focused on preventive care and encouraging well being. I view myself as a partner in a patient’s health.”
In her spare time, Dr. Meyer enjoys spending time with her husband and two stepdaughters, gardening, studying Spanish, riding her horse, Buck, and playing with her dog, Chico, who is pet therapy trained by The Good Dog Foundation.
